2017 Solar Eclipse
The eclipse is coming to the Oregon Coast! We are the lucky coast that gets the first viewing of the solar eclipse, which means there will be a lot of people on our tiny coast line. If you are visiting for the spectacular event, make sure you remember to put safety first! Drive carefully on the roads, and please respect the road rules set out for emergency vehicles, and try to remember that these towns aren't used to holding such a large amount of people, so it may get a little cramped! Also, don't forget to wear solar filter glasses when watching the eclipse; watching without glasses could cause permanent damage to your eyesight. Let's all have a great time as we watch this beautiful moment together!
